Jdbeauteé was born out of a bold dream, a heart full of vision, and unwavering faith. In 2019, at just 17 years old, I began this journey with nothing but my passion for beauty and a deep desire to create something meaningful. What started as a makeup side hustle, turned into the seed for something greater: a beauty brand that would one day reflect not only my growth, but the resilience and radiance of women everywhere.

It all began in the most unexpected place—my local church, where I started selling handmade lip glosses with limited resources but limitless belief. While many overlooked me or didn’t take my vision seriously, others saw my drive and chose to support. I took every sale as a blessing, reinvested every dollar earned, and eventually launched my first website—all while still attending high school and doing makeup for friends and family on the side.

But as time passed, I began to realize that my true passion wasn’t doing makeup for others—it was creating it. I found joy in crafting beauty products that made women feel radiant and confident. So I shifted my focus from makeup artistry to e-commerce and began expanding my product line: from lip glosses to lip oils, lip scrubs, lip liners, lashes, and more. I had no fancy investors or big breaks—just God, grit, and a growing vision.

Like every journey worth telling, mine wasn’t without its trials. COVID-19 changed everything.

Sales plummeted, engagement dropped, and all the momentum I had built seemed to vanish overnight. What was meant to be a short 3-month break to regroup turned into a 3-year hiatus filled with self-doubt, exhaustion, and the temptation to give up. I felt lost, uninspired, and disconnected from the brand I once poured my heart into.

But even in the silence, God was working. Deep down, I knew that when the Lord gives you a vision—you don’t abandon it. You honor it. And I couldn’t walk away from something I was called to finish.

So I came back—stronger, wiser, and more intentional.
I rebranded completely—from Lxdcosmetics to Jdbeauteè, infusing my initials and French heritage into a name that means "beauty" in the most elegant way. I elevated everything—from packaging and formulas to product diversity and brand message. This wasn't just a cosmetic line anymore—it was a reflection of my transformation.
